Summary
Join Life360 as their Director of Marketing Planning and Operations and play a significant role in optimizing marketing planning and execution. Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, you will refine the integrated marketing planning model, lead cross-discipline planning sessions, collaborate with Finance on budget management, and serve as project lead for key deliverables. Responsibilities include ensuring timely and excellent execution of marketing deliverables, identifying areas for process improvement, and working with agencies to find solutions. This is a remote-first position based in the US, offering a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package.
Requirements
- 10+ years of Marketing Planning and Operations role ("Strategy & Ops" may also be a common title)
- Exceptional communication skills. Writing effectively is particularly critical in this role
- Stellar project management skills and always delivers on (or before) the deadline
- Deep curiosity for solving problems, understanding the business and using the product
- Previous experience working with budgets in complex and/or matrixed organizations
- Proactive and collaborative, within the team and across the organization
Responsibilities
- Refine, optimize and iterate on our integrated marketing planning model for both large campaign development and “evergreen” quarterly activity
- Lead/moderate cross-discipline marketing planning sessions in service of the operating model and process set for those campaigns and initiatives
- Work closely with Finance to ensure marketing costs are kept in-line with budgets across T&E and other working and non-working marketing investment areas
- Serve as project lead and co-editor of the Marketing team’s "Quarterly Business Preview" and "Quarterly Business Review" deliverables
- ���Quarterback” the Marketing team’s process and deliverable construction for Long Range Planning and our Annual Planning process
- Ensure marketing deliverables are comprehensive, on-time and executed with excellence, spanning from weekly updates to Life360 Operating Groups to our monthly email newsletter to the company to Board of Directors meeting materials
- Flag marketing processes in need of improvement and use agency to surface potential solutions and recommendations
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with subscription businesses is preferred
- Helpful to have worked with International teams
