Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in TV media buying for response-focused brands
  • Proven success managing large media budgets with high-performance expectations
  • Experience negotiating national direct response TV buys
  • Experience with radio planning and buying (terrestrial, digital, SXM, podcast)
  • Expertise in media buying software (e.g., Media Ocean or Core Media) and an understanding of trafficking and deadlines
  • Expertise in Nielsen Planning Tools including National TV Ratings Data, NPower, AMRLD, marketbreaks etc
  • Strong relationship-building skills with internal teams and media vendors
  • Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to balance multiple priorities under tight deadlines
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills
  • A passionate, results-driven leader with a proven ability to motivate and develop teams

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive media strategy for TV, CTV, and radio advertising, aligning with overall marketing and business goals. Ensure ongoing test and learn strategy within plans
  • Manage the end-to-end media buying process, including vendor negotiations, budget allocation, and campaign optimization
  • Drive budget mix recommendations across all channels that achieve performance goals. Manage weekly media budgets, ensuring accurate delivery and reconciliation against performance goals.Set expectations for clearance and adapt as necessary to meet weekly budget objectives
  • Collaborate with the team to evaluate performance and adjust buys for improved outcomes. Ensure all buys align with KPIs, including CPM, media length, daypart distribution ect
  • Lead and mentor a team of media professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, creativity, and accountability
  • Analyze campaign performance and market trends, providing actionable insights to inform strategy and improve effectiveness
  • Build strong relationships with media vendors, to secure premium inventory and innovative opportunities
  • Stay ahead of industry trends in TV, CTV, and radio, integrating emerging technologies and platforms into the media mix

  • The salary band for this position ranges from $130,000-$190,000, commensurate with experience and performance. Compensation may vary based on factors such as cost of living
