Requirements

  • Experience with DCAA and DCMA regulations, policies, and guidelines
  • High Proficiency in MS Office 365 (Excell, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
  • Experience with one or more accounting ERP systems (Unanet, Deltek, Cognos, Hyperion, and ADP)
  • Demonstrated revenue recognition experience in government contracting technology company environment, including ASC 606 evaluation and monitoring and other accounting principles
  • Work from home flexibility may require occasional office attendance
  • US Citizenship required

Responsibilities

  • Provide full-scale accounting support and ensure GAAP compliance through maintenance, oversight, and timely preparation of financial reporting information including bank covenant requirements
  • Manage monthly close process and Unanet accounting system
  • Provide accounting support and ensure DCAA & FAR compliance on government contracts
  • Support M&A activities as required, including purchase price and working capital accounting and integration efforts as needed
  • Oversee revenue monthly close procedures to ensure timely and accurate closing of the books for internal and external reporting in accordance with U.S. GAAP
  • Liaise with our external auditors for the year-end audit, including discussing technical revenue accounting issues and internal control findings
