Responsibilities

  • Strategic Partner to the Client Account Teams
  • Active involvement in the financial health of client accounts within the Marketing Services line of business
  • Leading revenue recognition process and contribution margin reporting
  • Ensuring financial transparency to clients including compliance with non-standard terms
  • Influencing pricing strategy
  • Managing MSAs/SOWs contracting process
  • Establish client finance as a value-added business partner to client account teams
  • Ensure timely client approvals and start-work authorizations to expedite revenue recognition and support audit requirements
  • Develop paperwork (MSAs, SOWs) in collaboration with Client Account, Growth, and Sales team
  • Establish consistent analysis of client contribution margins
  • Accountability for surfacing accounts that are not achieving target contribution margin
  • Giving Client account teams clear information required to resolve
  • Leading core client finance team operations
  • Guide team on proactive management of client procurement and finance team relationships
  • Accountable for soup-to-nuts ownership of invoicing
  • Including full quality control accountability to check invoice data across systems
  • Ensuring projects are setup accurately and with client authorization
  • Collections management and communications
  • Lead revenue recognition preparation and decisions
  • Oversee team management of client contracts
  • Active maintenance of all legal agreements to ensure record keeping is clear and concise
  • Proactive tracking of end dates
  • Maintain and uphold client compliance requirements per contract
  • Assist VP, Finance with adhoc reporting
  • Team Operations
  • Oversee client finance team to deliver accurate and timely client billing
  • Contract management processes
  • Project set-up processes
  • Client collections
  • And monthly revenue recognition processes
  • Lead and develop the client finance team
