Summary
Join Collectiv as their visionary Director of Consulting, leading a high-performing team and driving operational excellence. You will oversee Consulting Team Leads, ensuring strategic alignment and development. This role demands strategic leadership in LMA (Leading, Managing, Advising), optimizing utilization and revenue forecasting, and leveraging advanced consulting technologies. You will champion innovation, foster client relationships, and collaborate with the leadership team. Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor Consulting Team Leads, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
- Ideate, develop and deploy AI across departmental functions to enable the consulting department to rapidly grow as a human centered AI enabled company
- Set clear performance expectations and regularly review team progress against targets, ensuring high levels of consultant engagement and productivity
- Invest in the growth of future leaders by identifying potential within your teams and providing opportunities for professional development and advancement
- Monitor and drive team utilization rates, striving to exceed industry benchmarks and align with company goals
- Develop and execute accurate revenue forecasts, integrating insights from market trends, project pipelines, and client needs to support strategic business planning
- Champion the use of leading-edge consulting technologies, including Power BI and Azure Data Stack, to streamline operations and deliver superior client outcomes
- Lead initiatives to refine and enhance consulting processes, ensuring that our methodologies remain at the forefront of industry standards
- Spearhead the adoption of new technologies and methodologies within the consulting practice, positioning Collectiv as a thought leader in the industry
- Cultivate a culture of learning and knowledge exchange, both within the team and across the organization, enhancing our collective technical expertise
- Serve as a trusted advisor to key clients, offering strategic insights and ensuring that consulting services consistently meet or exceed client expectations
- Partner with the sales team to scope projects, develop proposals, and win new business, leveraging your technical expertise to drive revenue growth
- Oversee the development and enhancement of reporting models, ensuring accurate and timely data for decision-making and operational improvements
- Review and approve client invoices, ensuring precision and compliance with contractual terms
- Work closely with the rest of the leadership team at Collectiv to align the Consulting departmentβs goals with overall business objectives. Your input will be crucial in shaping company-wide strategies and ensuring cohesive execution across departments
- Actively participate in Leadership L10 meetings, providing data-driven insights and contributing to high-level decision-making processes. You will regularly present key metrics, operational updates, and strategic initiatives related to the Consulting department, ensuring that leadership decisions are informed by real-time consulting performance data
- Lead and mentor Consulting Team Leads through regular 1-on-1 meetings, ensuring effective management of consultants and project assignments
- Drive accurate forecasting and monitoring of consulting revenue and utilization rates, consistently aligning with business objectives
- Oversee compliance with consulting technologies and processes, leading continuous improvement efforts
- Provide thought leadership in consulting technologies, particularly Power BI and the Azure Data stack
- Maintain strong client relationships and support business development efforts with deep technical insights
- Manage operational tasks, including reporting, process enhancements, and invoice review
- Contribute to consulting hiring and onboarding processes, ensuring that candidates possess the necessary skills in Power BI and the Azure Data stack
- Collaborate with the leadership team and actively contribute to Leadership L10 meetings, ensuring alignment and strategic coherence across the organization, presenting insights and data-driven recommendations
