Summary

Join Best Egg as our Direct Mail Marketing Director and lead our customer acquisition efforts across multiple products. Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, you will be responsible for growing our customer base and loan originations through direct mail. You will develop and execute comprehensive direct mail marketing strategies, manage campaigns end-to-end, and analyze performance metrics to optimize results. Collaboration with internal teams and external vendors is crucial. This role requires a strong analytical background, proven success in direct mail marketing, and excellent leadership skills. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; MBA preferred
  • 10+ years of experience in direct mail or direct response marketing, preferably in the fintech, financial services, or subscription-based industries
  • Proven track record of leading successful customer acquisition campaigns through offline channels
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with customer segmentation, data analysis, and performance measurement
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously
  • Experience managing external vendors and negotiating contracts
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms and marketing automation tools
  • Exceptional communication and leadership skills

Responsibilities

  • Build and execute a comprehensive direct mail marketing strategy to support customer acquisition and retention goals
  • Oversee end-to-end campaign execution, including audience segmentation, creative development, production, and mailing logistics
  • Analyze campaign performance metrics, customer data, and market trends to optimize targeting, messaging, and offer strategies
  • Manage relationships with external vendors, including print houses, data providers, and mail fulfillment partners
  • Develop and manage the direct mail budget, ensuring cost efficiency and ROI optimization
  • Work closely with internal teams such as product marketing, creative, and analytics to align messaging and branding across channels
  • Ensure all campaigns meet regulatory guidelines and brand standards
