Join Extreme Networks as the Americas Sales Director of Distribution and lead the execution of the distribution sales strategy across North, Central, and South America. Drive revenue growth through strategic distribution partners, optimize channel performance, and align with Extreme Networks’ go-to-market initiatives. Build and maintain executive-level relationships with key distribution partners. Collaborate with regional sales leaders to ensure alignment and execution of joint business plans. Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to optimize partner productivity. Manage quarterly business reviews with distributors and internal stakeholders. This role requires deep experience in channel sales, distribution management, and a strong understanding of the networking technology landscape.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred)
- 10+ years of experience in channel sales or distribution management in the networking or IT industry
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and managing multi-million-dollar distribution relationships
- Strong understanding of the networking technology ecosystem (LAN, WLAN, SD-WAN, cloud networking)
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills
- Ability to travel up to 50% across the Americas
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the Americas distribution strategy aligned with corporate objectives
- Build and maintain executive-level relationships with key distribution partners
- Collaborate with regional sales leaders to ensure alignment and execution of joint business plans
- Drive revenue growth through distribution-led initiatives and partner enablement
- Identify and recruit new distribution partners to expand market reach
- Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to optimize partner productivity
- Manage quarterly business reviews (QBRs) with distributors and internal stakeholders
- Ensure accurate forecasting, pipeline management, and reporting
- Oversee MDF (Market Development Funds) planning and ROI tracking
- Work closely with marketing, product management, and customer success teams to support partner success
- Align with global distribution and channel programs to ensure consistency and scalability
- Ensure sales forecasting excellence through accurate, data-driven projections and collaboration with finance and operations teams
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Extreme Networks solutions or similar enterprise networking vendors
- Bilingual (English and Spanish or Portuguese) is a plus
- Familiarity with Salesforce, Tableau, PRM tools, and data analytics/AI platforms
