Requirements

  • Live in the United States
  • 8-10 years of experience in employee relations, engagement, and compliance program management
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or relevant field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Proven experience in designing and executing employee engagement, culture, and wellness programs
  • Demonstrated success in implementing employee relations strategies and managing compliance programs
  • Proven ability to design and lead employee engagement and culture programs
  • Strong leadership and team management skills with a focus on operational execution
  • In-depth knowledge of employment laws and HR policy implementation
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to manage programs that enhance employee engagement, culture, and retention

Responsibilities

  • Lead the execution and management of employee relations strategies, compliance programs, and employee engagement initiatives
  • Operationalize policies and programs developed by the VP People Operations, ensuring consistent implementation across the organization
  • Enhance the employee experience through proactive conflict resolution, effective policy enforcement, and targeted engagement initiatives aligned with organizational goals

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree (MBA, MA in HR Management, or related field)
  • SHRM-SCP/SPHR certification
  • Experience in nonprofit or higher education sectors
  • A passion for higher education
