Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
• Proven experience as finance director, or relevant role, preferably in the fintech industry
• In-depth knowledge of corporate financial law and risk management practices
• Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods
• Ability to strategize and solve problems
• Strong leadership and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and people skills
• An analytical mind, comfortable with numbers
• The ability to work remotely and manage remote teams
• Bilingual English - Spanish

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the company's financial strategy, aligning it with the company's overall objectives
• Oversee all fiscal and regulatory matters of the company
• Provide strategic financial input and leadership on decision-making issues affecting the organization
• Ensure the credibility of the finance group by providing timely and accurate analysis of budgets, financial trends, and forecasts
• Understand and mitigate key elements of the company's risk profile and ensure that the company complies with all legal and regulatory requirements
• Evaluate and advise on the impact of long-range planning, introduction of new programs/strategies, and regulatory actions
• Enhance and/or develop, implement, and enforce policies and procedures of the organization by way of systems that will improve the overall operation and effectiveness of the corporation

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA or related advanced degree
• CPA
• Extensive experience in the crypto world
• Understanding of blockchain technology and digital currencies
• Experience with crypto-related regulatory and compliance issues
