Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 10+ years of corporate finance experience with increasing responsibility
  • Deep knowledge of GAAP compliance and federal/state tax regulations
  • Strong experience in financial reporting, auditing, and budgeting
  • Ability to build and lead a high-performing finance team
  • Expert in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools
  • Exceptional critical thinking, analytical, and decision-making skills
  • A proactive, hands-on approach to solving complex financial challenges
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills to influence cross-functional stakeholders

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and produce monthly financial statements and performance reporting
  • Analyze financial data for accuracy and ensure compliance with GAAP standards
  • Establish, refine, and monitor internal controls to ensure compliance with GAAP, legal, regulatory, and company policies
  • Lead the budgeting and forecasting process, set targets, and manage timelines, working closely with the CFO and executive team
  • Optimize the billing and collections processes to ensure healthy cash flow and financial efficiency
  • Provide strategic analysis and reporting to the CEO, CFO, and executive team, supporting key decision-making
  • Update and formalize accounting policies, procedures, and controls to support growth and scalability
  • Lead the annual audit process, coordinate with external auditors, and manage annual tax return filings and regulatory reporting
  • Stay ahead of federal and state compliance requirements and manage the relationship with third-party tax advisors
  • Oversee payroll, benefits, and employee matters related to HR compliance

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's or CPA
  • CPaaS or SaaS industry experience
