Requirements
- Ph.D. or Masters degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Material Science, Process Engineering, Applied Math or related fields, or a Bachelor of Science with 15+ years of experience
- 8+ years of experience with government sponsored research projects
- Exceptional understanding of the government project funding processes: RFI, RFQ, RFP, etc
- Track record of securing government funding for research projects
- Strong communication skills, with ability to summarize and condense complex research projects, highlighting their most salient aspects and benefits
Responsibilities
- Interface with the government to identify government sponsored projects that align with Western Digital
- Make project proposals and manage the entire proposal process
