Summary

Join Unison's team as the Director of Global HR, reporting to the COO and CFO. You will lead core HR and talent management, ensuring accurate payroll, designing incentive plans, and ensuring global compliance. Partner with senior leadership to develop effective recruiting, select and administer benefits, and lead talent management programs. Foster a culture of engagement in a growing organization. This role requires extensive HR leadership experience, a Bachelor's degree and SPHR certification, and proven success in compensation strategy and plan administration. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication and analytical skills and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of progressive Human Resources leadership experience within a public or private company
  • Demonstrated experience building and leading a Human Resources and recruiting function within an entrepreneurial organization experiencing rapid growth
  • Bachelor's degree and SPHR certification required
  • Experience leading Human Resources at a company with multi-national operations
  • Demonstrated track record of design, development, communication and administration of compensation strategies and plans, including bonuses, commissions, and other compensation methods
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills and the ability to influence executives required

Responsibilities

  • Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing in all countries in compliance with laws and regulations
  • Analyze, design, and implement compensation programs for commissioned and non-commissioned employees
  • Manage the year-end performance management cycle
  • Build and evolve an HR function supporting all employees and managers including management of the entire employee lifecycle and experience (i.e. attract, recruit, develop, perform, retain, separate, re-skill)
  • Develop and manage all internal policies and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal governing laws
  • Evaluate, select, implement, and manage benefits and compensation programs that attract and retain top talent
  • Implement effective recruiting processes and practices and manage internal key vendors
  • Oversee selection and management of payroll vendor partners
  • Implement and manage the processes and controls that ensure total compliance with regulatory agencies and optimize the benefit administration processes

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA a plus
  • Fluency in Spanish, French, Italian, German, and other languages is a strong plus
  • Entrepreneurial and collaborative team spirit
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to deliver results and prioritize tasks in a fast-moving, dynamic environment
  • Outstanding analytical and quantitative skills
