Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of marketing experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful, product-oriented marketing strategies
  • Strong record of targeted marketing campaigns toward customers within the Department of Defense and other Federal agencies
  • Strong understanding of government technology convenings, channels, and regulations for outreach
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams
  • Ability to develop, recommend to leadership, and execute strategic marketing plans that deliver results, including translating big ideas into tactical actions
  • Proficiency in marketing analytics and data analysis, with a strong analytical mindset
  • Experience with marketing automation tools, CRM software, design, and video production
  • Though infrequent, willingness to travel as needed to meet business objectives (10%)
  • A thorough background check will be conducted, including verification of employment history, education credentials, and any criminal records. Any involvement in activities that may pose a risk to national security will also be checked
  • The candidate must be able to obtain required DoD clearance requirements
  • Thorough reference checks will be conducted to gather insights into the candidate's professional conduct, reliability, and trustworthiness

Responsibilities

  • Create and implement aggressive marketing strategies to enhance brand visibility and drive customer acquisition
  • Develop comprehensive marketing plans that align with the company's strategic goals and market opportunities
  • Select, lead, and manage the marketing agency, ensuring close collaboration with the COO
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders to enhance collaboration and drive marketing initiatives
  • Develop and nurture sustained relationships with vendors, resellers, and other sales partners to leverage strategic collaboration and brand affinity
  • Conduct thorough market research and competitive analysis to identify new marketing opportunities and inform strategic decisions
  • Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies to maintain a competitive edge
  • Work closely with sales and product development to align marketing strategies with overall business objectives and customer needs
  • Collaborate with the COO to ensure marketing budgets are effectively managed and aligned with company goals
  • Execute identified marketing goals and KPIs for the company, monitoring progress and adjusting tactics as needed to achieve targets
  • Foster a results-oriented environment that encourages accountability and high achievement
  • Develop and implement innovative marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital, social media, and traditional marketing
  • Utilize data-driven insights to refine marketing strategies and improve campaign performance
  • Monitor marketing activities and track consumer behavior, leveraging analytics to inform decision-making and recommend strategy adjustments
  • Identify areas for improvement within the marketing process and create targeted programs to address them
  • Implement best practices to enhance marketing efficiency and effectiveness, driving continuous improvement across the marketing organization
