Summary

Join PayJunction as a Director of Outside Sales to lead the growth and success of our company by building and leading an outside sales team, crafting impactful sales strategies, and aligning every effort with the overarching goals of PayJunction. This role requires a minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in outside sales, with at least 5 years in a leadership position, and at least 5 years of experience in the payment processing industry.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in outside sales, with at least 5 years in a leadership position
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the payment processing industry
  • Experienced in compensation planning for sales teams
  • Has a network of successful outside resellers across the country that can be recruited
  • Experienced in companies over 100 people as a W2 employee in a sales leadership role
  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding revenue targets over broad US geography
  • Fluent in Salesforce with daily experience creating reports and dashboards
  • Strong understanding of interchange fees, including how they are determined and their impact on pricing and profitability
  • Experience managing through funnel metrics and standard KPIs
  • Experience with prospecting and hunting methodologies

Responsibilities

  • Define the sales team structure and create your hiring plan
  • Build, retain, mentor, and lead a high-performing outside sales team
  • Identify skill gaps and provide training opportunities to ensure that the team has the resources and support needed to succeed
  • Ensure continual alignment for yourself and your team with PayJunction’s core values
  • Develop a repeatable sales process with clear KPIs
  • Ensure that the sales strategy adapts to market changes, competitive landscapes, and customer needs
  • Monitor the KPIs necessary to meet business and revenue goals
  • Review pricing methods, product positioning, sales effectiveness, and other means of attaining revenue targets. Make improvements as necessary
  • Manage the database and ensure appropriate distribution of target accounts and leads
  • Conduct daily inspection of MQLs  to increase conversion rates and reduce response time
  • Identify lead sourcing, generation, and qualification to keep your teams fed
  • Collaborate with leaders across the company to provide department specific insights, reporting, and forecasting
  • Cultivate a strong partnership with marketing, sales operations and channel teams to implement effective strategy and plans
  • Provide feedback and reinforcement on sales tool usage, needs, and necessary enhancements
  • Work with Finance to define compensation/incentive plans that drive desired revenue outcomes
  • Drive market expansion and build key client relationships
