Summary

Join DEPT® Germany and Switzerland as their VP of People! Partner with leadership teams to implement people-related strategies, lead local projects like employee satisfaction analysis, and develop a senior People team. Collaborate with the EMEA People team on regional and global initiatives. The ideal candidate is an experienced People Lead in the digital agency or tech industry, with strong HR knowledge, culture-building skills, and stakeholder management expertise. They should be adaptable, proactive, and possess excellent communication skills in German and English. Requirements

• An experienced People Lead, preferably within a digital agency / the tech industry
• Excellent and accurate knowledge of HR legislation for this market, policies, processes, and tools
• Excellent skills in strengthening the culture
• Someone who is well-versed in stakeholder management
• Someone who can quickly adapt and feel comfortable in a creative and rapidly changing environment
• Someone punctual, proactive, has a positive attitude and can work independently
• Someone who can bring fresh thinking and energy to the team with a can-do mentality
• Clear communication and someone who takes ownership of their actions
• Working proficiency of both German and English
• Direct availability to start working in Germany

Responsibilities

• Partnering up with the leadership teams of Germany and Switzerland to bring DEPT®’s vision on people-related topics (e.g. culture, succession planning, learning & development, health & wellbeing, etc.) to life
• Leading local projects like the yearly employee satisfaction analysis, and proactively facilitating initiatives that come out of these projects
• Leading and further developing a (senior) People team (4 direct reports) in Germany and Switzerland
• Collaborating with the EMEA People team on regional and global projects, including our compensation and benefits strategy, DE&I, B-Corp, Learning & Development, etc
