Summary

Join Figma's growing team as a hands-on Director, People Analytics! Leverage your data passion to drive business decisions, implementing a new people analytics tool and developing a long-term strategy. You will build and lead a team of analysts, creating compelling data stories to inform organizational health, hiring, retention, and more. This full-time role can be based in a US hub or remotely within the US. You'll partner with executives and collaborate on initiatives, building a roadmap for continued development of reporting and analytics capabilities. Requirements

  • Experience in a quantitative or people analytics role
  • A passion for analyzing data to see beyond the numbers and help inform and influence business decisions
  • Experience leading and developing teams of high performing analysts
  • Strong data analytics skills with the ability to combine multiple internal and external data sources to enable data-driven insights and inform strategic talent decisions
  • Experience using SQL, R, Python for data analysis
  • Strong understanding of HR data and HR employee lifecycle processes (talent acquisition, talent development, workforce planning, DE&I, employee listening, etc.)
  • Familiarity with Workday and other people tools

Responsibilities

  • Manage, develop, and centralize a team of analysts focused on building analysis across the candidate and employee lifecycles
  • Implement a new analytics tool that will allow us to synthesize multiple data sources including Greenhouse, Gem, and Workday
  • Use data to create compelling and actionable data stories to drive insights and decision making across the organization
  • Partner with executives and people team collaborators to prepare materials for Board meetings and company wide initiatives
  • Identify and provide key insights and recommendations around organizational health, including hiring and retention, internal mobility, belonging & inclusion, employee experience, and more
  • Build a roadmap and prioritization process for continued development of our reporting and analytics capabilities across all people systems
  • Ensure consistent methodology and alignment on data collection, definitions, metrics, and reporting across our systems and teams
  • Collaborate with partners across the business on process changes that may impact data

Preferred Qualifications

  • Expertise in statistical analysis (regression, correlation, scenario analysis, forecasting, and experimentation (A/B) testing
  • Experience with capacity modeling
  • Prior experience implementing analytics tools
