Summary

The Director of Pharmacy Operations at Gravie will manage PBM relationships, work closely with various teams, and oversee the direction and management of pharmacy operations to improve service and value for members. The role requires 8+ years of experience at a PBM or pharmacy department of a health plan, 5+ years of relationship management experience, 3+ years of experience with Medical Pharmacy claims, 3+ years of experience in building analytics programs and dashboards, and the ability to work independently and manage time-critical issues.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience at a PBM or pharmacy department of a health plan
  • 5+ years of relationship management experience
  • 3+ years of experience with Medical Pharmacy claims (J-Codes, S-Codes, C-Codes, etc)
  • 3+ years of experience in building analytics programs and dashboards

Responsibilities

  • Be responsible for the overall direction and management of pharmacy operations to enhance the member experience and improve operational effectiveness
  • Manage vendor relationships for Gravie’s PBM and any downstream vendor(s) including onboarding, billing, management of KPIs, dashboards for performance, Performance Guarantees, and member satisfaction metrics
  • Develop and manage project plans for Pharmacy initiatives to ensure accurate, timely and coordinated implementation
  • Develop and implement a benefit build and benefit testing process for new and renewing groups
  • Develop and implement a benefit inquiry process to help support customer service, GravieCare, Account Management, and Sales
  • Work with compliance to ensure the PBM and vendors are compliant with all State and federal laws as well as any national accreditation standards. Support State or Federal inquiries as needed
  • Work closely with business operations team to support claims system implementation and maintenance and serve as subject matter expert
