Requirements

  • Advanced Degree: MD or DO
  • Healthcare operations and clinical care experience, ideally with firsthand knowledge of inpatient, outpatient and post-acute care systems
  • Demonstrated understanding of the challenges faced by payers and providers in healthcare change management and implementation of population health priorities and provider engagement
  • Ability to engage and communicate effectively with clients and prospects across levels of seniority: from entry level analytics teams to C-suite executives and physician leaders
  • Data, analytics, and software experience in healthcare with an understanding of the differences between claims data, EMR/clinical data and pharmacy data
  • An understanding of the standardized performance measures commonly incorporated into CMS APM and VBC models (e.g. HEDIS, STARS, etc)

Responsibilities

  • Partner with internal teams in the implementation and validation of new methodologies with documentation of clinical interpretations when needed
  • Development of quality metrics and provider scorecards
  • Distinguishing clinically justifiable variations in utilization and performance versus interven-able and inappropriate utilization
  • Leverage healthcare operations and clinical practice experience to assist in the sculpting and build out of opportunity assessments, performance measures and other analytic insights to enable VBC with a keen eye toward approachable and symbiotic payer-provider partnerships and success in downside risk arrangements
  • Being a clinical voice for Clarify and bringing a clinical perspective to both internal and external discussions
  • Work with product and commercial teams to enable successful market fit and commercial viability of platform insights when translated to clinical practice opportunities
  • Team with sales and solutions to communicate opportunities and potential ROI of successfully implemented enterprise analytics and metrics
  • Enable Customer Success teams to communicate client feedback, product roadmap priorities, successful use cases and potential partnerships for ongoing clinical effectiveness work, including strategic, actionable and scalable opportunity insights
