Requirements

• Have 10+ years of design experience, with deep experience working on B2B and B2C SaaS products
• 5+ years successfully building and managing design teams in a high growth environment
• Passion for leading, coaching and building an inspired team through setting vision, unlocking potential, and driving compassionate accountability
• Demonstrated use of qualitative and quantitative data, leverage subject matter experts to impacts customer and business metrics
• Outcome focused decision maker who effectively balances ambiguity, available data, speed, and iteration
• Proven track record of influencing cross functional stakeholders with results
• Have a deep curiosity of emerging technologies and an enthusiasm for cybersecurity
• Ability to establish a vibrant, opinionated, and inclusive design culture
• Portfolio of work teams they have managed and/or operational practices they instrumented is required

Responsibilities

• Lead design for two critical Vanta product areas
• Create the design vision and strategy for your domain and align it with our business strategy, advocating for customer outcomes and a world-class user experience
• Build a best-in-class organization, hold a high bar for customer experience, design quality, and team cohesion
• Coach and mentor a growing team of Product Designers, providing the expertise, direction, and support needed for high performance
• Establish strong partnership with Product and Engineering that instills a strong sense of joint ownership and effective collaboration
• Work cross functional partners in EPD and GTM interfacing with stakeholders
• A key contributor to the product strategy and roadmap for your domain, in partnership with Product and Engineering partners
• Evolve the Design team playbook with head of design and other design leadership by implementing best practices in design process, rituals and execution for high quality craftsmanship
