Summary

Join HubSpot's Product team as the Director of Product Management for Commerce Billing and lead a growing team responsible for building market-leading billing tools and products. Drive product strategy, roadmap, and new product ideas from concept to launch. Collaborate with UX and Engineering to ensure optimal customer value and usability. Leverage data to identify opportunities and partner with stakeholders across HubSpot. This is a greenfield opportunity to build a native commerce experience within HubSpot's CRM. You will build psychologically safe and diverse teams and care deeply about inclusion. The role requires experience in B2B billing products, pricing models, and building diverse product teams.

Requirements

  • Successfully built B2B billing products for one-time and recurring use cases
  • Experience in setting up various pricing models and billing runs/schedules
  • Built ramps, tiers and product bundles into a holistic billing offering
  • Deep understanding of how B2B businesses transact
  • Demonstrate a platform mindset in how they build products
  • Ability to create a vision and strategy for the entire billing group for the next 2-3 years
  • Adept at cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder alignment
  • A proven track record of building and leading diverse and inclusive product management teams as a people manager (hiring, performance management, coaching of Product Managers)
  • A deep focus on understanding our customers and making their experience personalized and better
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the willingness to defend their ideas to key stakeholders
  • Experience with complex growth initiatives and product rollouts
  • Healthy technical and interpersonal problem-solving skills
  • Proven leadership skills, and the ability to make decisions, test assumptions, and iterate - often without perfect information
  • Desire and demonstrated ability to achieve stretch goals in an innovative and fast-paced environment
  • Someone who can add to the culture of the product team and cares about diversity, inclusion, and belonging

Responsibilities

  • Drive our strategy, product roadmap & guide new product ideas from an initial concept all the way to product launch
  • Work in alignment with partners in UX and Engineering to create the greatest value and usability for our customers
  • Use data to identify opportunities, strategize to execute these changes, and partner with business stakeholders across HubSpot to make these solutions for our customers
  • Support your team with clear expectations and career paths which allows our turnover to be low and eNPS scores high
  • Build psychologically safe and diverse teams and care deeply about inclusion
  • Lead a growing and senior team of PMs responsible for our Billing tools and product suite (Invoices, Subscriptions, Integrations, Billing and Revenue Management)
  • Create and execute on the vision of how HubSpot builds the channels that support B2B merchants, however they choose to go-to-market

Benefits

  • Cash compensation range: 240000-384000 USD Annually
  • The cash compensation above includes base salary, on-target commission for employees in eligible roles, and annual bonus targets under HubSpotโ€™s bonus plan for eligible roles
  • In addition to cash compensation, some roles are eligible to participate in HubSpotโ€™s equity plan to receive restricted stock units (RSUs)
  • Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay
  • Remote work
