Requirements

  • Minimum of 15 years of progressive project management experience, with the majority in website design and development
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience working at a digital agency or consulting firm
  • Strong leadership, coaching and management skills
  • Robust client presentation skills
  • Proficiency with Drupal and/or WordPress
  • Proficiency in Project Management tools, e.g. JIRA, Parallax, Airtable or similar
  • Ability to prepare concise and clear professional memos and documentation
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • For remote work: Previous experience successfully working remotely, and physical location in the U.S

Responsibilities

  • Coach, develop and grow our Project Management team
  • Lead weekly team meetings and project capacity planning
  • Scale and structure department with the growth of UI
  • Implement and/or improve PMO best practices and appropriate infrastructure; scale with Urban Insight
  • Provide oversight for the end to end PM services (change orders, client communications, core PM artifacts, etc.)
  • Oversee the successful delivery of all projects
  • Ensure client satisfaction and that projects are completed in scope, on time and within budget
  • Project Manage a small portion of Urban Insight’s projects (i.e., this role has billable components)
  • Work with the management team to set the strategic direction of the organization
  • Participate in sales processes; own estimation sub-process
  • Collaborate effectively cross-departmentally, e.g. with Sales, Creative, Development
  • Partner with COO / Operations to implement infrastructure dependent on PM Dept
