Join Veeva Systems, a leading life sciences industry cloud company, as the Director of Sales for Crossix Audiences. Lead and mentor a team of Account Partners selling Crossix Audiences to Life Sciences companies and their agencies across North America. This critical role involves hiring, managing, and supporting a diverse sales team, providing strategic guidance, and ensuring accurate sales forecasting and pipeline management. You will manage relationships with key stakeholders and handle administrative tasks. The position requires significant experience in digital media/advertising sales within the Life Sciences industry and strong leadership skills. Requirements

  • 3+ years experience managing a team of 3+ Account Executives selling digital media/advertising (biotech, pharmaceutical, medical device or diagnostic)
  • 8+ years experience selling digital media & advertising AND recent experience selling those services to the Life Sciences industry (biotech, pharmaceutical, medical device or diagnostic)
  • Understanding of Life Sciences media landscape, as well as the people, processes, and technology in this industry
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation, written & verbal communication skills
  • Be self-motivated, professional, confident, flexible, and results-driven
  • Be proactive and energetic approach, flexible
  • Be willing to travel as required

Responsibilities

  • Hire and manage a team of A-players to create and drive business into new and existing accounts
  • Provide strategic guidance related to key opportunities and complete sales cycles
  • Manage relationships with key stakeholders across marketing, analytics, and C-level executives
  • Accurate sales forecast and pipeline management
  • Review and approve pricing and proposals
  • Review and approve expense reports and other administrative tasks associated with managing an outside sales team
  • Report and maintain timely and thorough notes pertaining to opportunities via Veevaโ€™s CRM
  • Be willing to travel 25%+
