Requirements

• Have significant experience and good knowledge of enterprise eCommerce software and tech trends
• Be a skilled business manager, with the ability to interface with clients’ executive leadership
• Have the ability to understand, define, and clearly communicate business goals in order to get stakeholders on board
• Possess deep Shopify knowledge
• Have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Have 10+ years of experience in software development, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
• Have 10+ years experience in eCommerce, DTC brands, or related industries
• Have experience with autonomous decision-making for fast-growing DTC brands
• Possess excellent communication and client-facing skills, with a track record of successful client engagements
• Have proven experience in managing and scaling engineering teams, preferably in an agency setting
• Have a strong background in software architecture, design patterns, and best practices
• Have hands-on experience with modern web development frameworks, languages, and tools

Responsibilities

• Participate in strategic discussions and guiding clients with technical expertise
• Be proactive in research and development of features, tools, and best practices to benefit client businesses
• Serve as the most senior technical leader in client engagements, translating business requirements into technical solutions
• Collaborate with clients to understand their goals, providing guidance and expertise to deliver exceptional digital products
• Ensure client satisfaction by overseeing the successful delivery of technical solutions on time and within scope
• Support and participate in sales opportunities, promoting Anatta’s technical solutions to prospective clients
• Ensure regular technical audits are performed for clients so that opportunities for future improvements can be identified and presented to clients
• Define and implement the engineering roadmap, aligning it with the company’s strategic objectives
• Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies, integrating relevant advancements into the company’s offerings
• Oversee the design and architecture of complex systems, ensuring they meet performance, security, and scalability requirements for the client
• Drive the implementation of robust testing and quality assurance processes, ensuring the delivery of bug-free, reliable products
• Collaborate with QA teams to develop automated testing strategies and continuous integration pipelines
• Serve as a Senior functional leader for UI, Backend, and QA team members for all project engagements, driving innovation, quality, and technical excellence
• Directly lead and mentor a team of Technical Architects and QA Leads, and indirectly oversee and mentor UI and BE developers and QA analysts, fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and high performance
• Manage the recruitment, hiring, onboarding, and training processes for new team members
• Establish and enforce engineering best practices, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, scalable, and maintainable code
• Develop and implement strategic plans to drive technical excellence and support the company’s growth objectives
