Join Vanta as a Director of Solutions Engineering and lead a high-performing team partnering with Sales to win Mid-Market and Enterprise deals. You will play a critical role in shaping the technical sales motion for strategic opportunities, driving technical sales excellence, and ensuring sophisticated customers see the value of Vantaβs Trust Management Platform. This involves supporting complex sales cycles, unlocking new markets, and accelerating expansion into regulated industries. Youβll collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, Product, and Marketing to build scalable sales processes, improve technical qualification and discovery, and deliver a world-class customer experience. The role requires leading and coaching a team, building pre-sales processes, collaborating with Product and Marketing, establishing KPIs, and strengthening cross-functional collaboration. Requirements
- 10+ years in B2B SaaS, including 3+ years leading Mid-Market or Enterprise Solutions Engineering teams
- Proven success supporting high-complexity, regulated, or security-focused sales motions
- Strong technical acumen and the ability to engage confidently with CISOs, CTOs, and technical stakeholders
- Experience scaling SE functions in fast-growth environments and building effective AE<>SE partnerships
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
Responsibilities
- Lead and coach a growing team of Solutions Engineers focused on Mid-Market and Enterprise sales
- Partner with Sales to navigate complex sales cycles, improving technical discovery, qualification, and demo effectiveness
- Build repeatable, scalable pre-sales processes to support achievement of the technical win in complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles
- Collaborate with Product and Marketing to shape positioning and roadmap based on customer feedback
- Establish clear KPIs and use data to continuously improve technical win rates and implementation success
- Strengthen AE<>SE and AM<>SE collaboration across both new logo and expansion deals
- Represent the SE function cross-functionally and help scale best practices globally
Preferred Qualifications
Background in security, compliance, infrastructure, or developer tools is a bonus
