Director, Product Management

Summary

Join Komodo Health's Product Management Team as Director, Product Management, MapLab Professional, and lead the scaling of MapLab Professional offerings for analysts and business users. Drive growth, adoption, and retention of the analytics solution, refine the strategy for out-of-the-box analytic content, and champion AI for enhanced user experiences. Over the first year, you will make measurable improvements to revenue and adoption rates, create a 12-month roadmap, improve processes, ship new offerings, define the business model and outcome metrics, secure first customers, and enable GTM teams. This role requires strategic direction, facilitating execution, customer centricity, people management, process excellence, and market trend understanding. Requirements

• Hands-on experience building for b2b offerings for life sciences
• Demonstrated ability to grow products and businesses
• Fluency communicating across technical, strategic, and customer audiences
• Experience building, motivating, and mentoring teams of product managers
• Experience supporting sales to life sciences, or intermediaries in the space
• Commitment to culture of growth and inclusivity
• Player-coach willing to work directly with scrum teams on key projects in addition to managing PMs
• You’re expected to be fluent in AI tools for your user segments, and to push the organization in terms of how to use artificial intelligence to accelerate our impact for these users

Responsibilities

• Provide a vision and plan for scaling the MapLab Professional business, and break that vision into milestones of value
• Work closely with the product managers and engineering team to ensure that the build meets customer needs
• Be the foremost expert on our team on our life sciences customers, including both the users and the buyers, spending a significant portion of our time engaging directly and with customer-facing teams
• Lead and mentor a team of product managers, ensuring that each team member has clear goals, is empowered to drive outcomes, understands their role in achieving organizational strategy, and has an explicitly defined path to achieve development and career goals
• Drive the team toward continuous improvement in customer centricity, product management processes, and strategic thinking
• Understand industry trends and competitive landscape, and bring this awareness to your team

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building analytics platforms for life sciences
• Experience doing analytics for life sciences as a consultant
• Experience with Healthcare Data
• Experience building AI-based products
