Summary
RainFocus is seeking an experienced Director of Project Management to lead their project management team and shape global project management practices. The role requires 5+ years' experience managing medium to large size projects in a high-tech development environment, leading and developing teams focused on project management, and a BA/BS Degree or equivalent. Requirements
- Minimum of 5 yearsβ experience managing medium to large size projects in a high-tech development environment
- 5+ yearsβ experience leading and developing teams focused on project management
- Experience in customer facing roles
- Intermediate ability with tools such as Salesforce, Certinia, JIRA/Atlassian, and MS Office
- Ability to quickly grasp new concepts, plan work and execute projects in a fast-paced environment
- Able to work consultatively and cross-functionally to identify and implement process and technology improvements
- Strong interest in and aptitude for understanding both the business and technical specifics of healthcare
- Detail oriented with a high sense of accountability
- Ability and experience in the management of a remote team
Responsibilities
- Provide work direction, coaching and performance feedback to project managers while establishing and maintaining positive relationships with relevant business partners
- Develop standardized project tracking and reporting tools, leading project managers and the delivery/completion of successful and complex projects on time, budget and scope
- Develop processes and reporting to assist with the Project Management and Implementation team as well as the measurements for department/company performance
- Become a trusted advisor within our organization and cross-functionally with stakeholders, as well as the Sales, Product, Marketing focused on supporting holistic solutions for customers
- Drive and maintain continuous process improvements in partnership with project managers
- Develop internal and external relationships and drive alignment across client success teams which includes. Platform Consulting, Shared Services, and Client Success Leaders
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with business partners and other employees across the organization
- Be the voice of operational improvement and data analysis, executing on both small and large initiatives
- Monitor the overall performance of the PM Team by tracking and analyzing key performance metrics
- Establish clear, measurable objectives for the team. Monitor and measure these objectives regularly, providing coaching, recognition and correction as required
- Hold teams accountable for their commitments and remove roadblocks to their work
- Develop and implement operating mechanisms to support successful execution of client event programs, keeping a clear eye on retention, margin, and client sentiment
- Perform risk management best practices to minimize project risks
- Create and maintain an engaging work culture
- Partner with the Workforce Manager to monitor appropriate staffing levels and career development of team
- Leverage organizational resources to improve capacity for project work
- Maintain compliance with RainFocus policies, procedures and values
