Director, Publisher Development

Summary

Join Freestar as the Director of Publisher Development and leverage your industry contacts to build new publisher relationships. Act as a Freestar evangelist, creating opportunities to maximize revenue for clients. Grow the publisher base by prospecting and closing new accounts. Identify areas for improvement in publisher relationships with Freestar offerings. Demonstrate extensive product knowledge and make recommendations. Cultivate strong relationships through various communication methods. Communicate goals and results to key stakeholders. This role reports to the Chief Revenue Officer.

Requirements

• A consistent track record in Publisher Development
• 7+ years experience & strong understanding of AdTech industry
• An extensive contact list of publishers
• Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
• A customer-focused attitude with relationship management skills
• The mindset of an Hunter; you drive change and you’re self-motivated
• Creative problem solving capabilities
• Strong time management and prioritization skills

Responsibilities

• Grow our publisher family by prospecting and closing new accounts
• Identify areas of opportunity and improvement in an effort to establish a publisher's relationship with Freestar’s offerings
• Demonstrate extensive product knowledge; make recommendations as needed
• Cultivate strong relationships through face to face, email and phone communication
• Communicate goals and results to key stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

• Excellent verbal, written and formal presentation skills
• Comfort interacting across multiple teams and management levels within the organization
• Previous background in the media landscape (linear, digital, or social) is a plus
