Summary

Join Typeform as their Head of Web Strategy and lead the charge in transforming their website into a revenue-generating powerhouse. You will define and execute a unified web vision, integrating SEO, CRO, content, and UX to maximize activation, bookings, and business impact. This highly strategic role demands ownership of the "Win the War on the Web" initiative, requiring alignment of marketing teams and measurable improvements in traffic, conversions, and revenue. You will develop and own a comprehensive web strategy, lead and mentor SEO and CRO specialists, oversee web development projects, and run a data-driven CRO program. The role also involves scaling SEO and organic growth, establishing performance reporting, and presenting insights to senior leadership. This is a high-impact position with significant responsibility for the company's web presence and revenue generation.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in web strategy, content marketing, or related fields
  • Proven success managing website optimization across SEO, CRO, and user experience
  • Experience leading teams and managing agencies/contractors
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to turn insights into action
  • Hands-on experience with content strategy, SEO tools, analytics platforms, and A/B testing frameworks
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; able to align multiple teams to a single vision
  • Balance of strategic leadership and hands-on execution in fast-paced environments
  • Experience leading large-scale web projects (redesigns, migrations, new content initiatives)
  • Familiarity with Webflow or similar CMS platforms
  • Knowledge of accessibility and UX best practices
  • Understanding of paid and organic performance marketing and their impact on web conversions

Responsibilities

  • Develop & own a comprehensive web strategy aligned to business goals, with clear accountability for engagement, conversions, and revenue
  • Lead & mentor SEO and CRO specialists , fostering a culture of experimentation and continuous optimization
  • Oversee web development projects with our external agency and improve internal processes for self-serve publishing across marketing
  • Run a data-driven CRO program: identify conversion opportunities, prioritize testing, and implement site-wide improvements
  • Scale SEO & organic growth: build a content strategy that drives impressions, traffic, CTR, and conversions
  • Establish performance reporting: own analytics for the website, presenting insights and recommendations to senior leadership
