Summary

Experience.com is seeking an experienced Senior QA Leader to oversee their Quality Assurance team in Chennai, India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in acceptance criteria testing and UI/UX, with a focus on customer experience and engagement. This role requires leadership, strategy development, testing and quality assurance, automation and efficiency, collaboration and communication, process improvement, and innovation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • 15+ years of experience in Quality Assurance with a focus on acceptance criteria testing and UI/UX
  • Proven leadership experience, ideally managing a large QA team
  • Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes
  • Experience in implementing customer experience and engagement testing
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Fluent in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the existing QA team, providing direction, mentorship, and support
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive QA strategy that encompasses acceptance criteria testing, UI/UX evaluation, building and maintaining automated test cases, with a focus on customer engagement and adoption
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators for the QA team, ensuring alignment with the company's objectives and standards
  • Oversee the development and execution of test plans and strategies for acceptance criteria testing to ensure product features meet requirements
  • Lead efforts in UI/UX testing, focusing on usability, design consistency, and customer engagement
  • Implement best practices for customer experience testing, ensuring that products align with user expectations and enhance customer satisfaction
  • Lead the creation, implementation, and management of automated test cases to enhance testing efficiency and coverage
  • Oversee the selection and integration of automated testing tools and frameworks suitable for our product and technology stack
  • Foster a culture of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) within the QA team, ensuring automated tests are an integral part of the development lifecycle
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a cohesive approach to product quality
  • Foster a culture of open communication and collaborative problem-solving within the QA team and across departments
  • Regularly report on QA activities, findings, and progress to senior management and relevant stakeholders
  • Continuously assess and improve QA processes and methodologies for efficiency and effectiveness
