Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in strategic marketing within the life sciences or biotechnology industry
  • Strong understanding of the synthetic biology market and its key applications

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of a comprehensive portfolio and marketing strategy aligned with Twist Bioscience's business objectives and market opportunities
  • Lead the product and marketing analytics function, fostering a culture of data-driven decision making and collaboration across the organization
  • Bridge technology/product roadmaps to executive and customer facing communications
  • Conduct in-depth market research and competitive analysis to identify new market opportunities and inform product marketing strategies
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest marketing trends and technologies within the life sciences industry
  • Develop and present market research and marketing reports to senior management, outlining key insights and recommendations for optimizing portfolio strategy and marketing effectiveness
  • Conduct in-depth data analysis to identify opportunities for revenue growth, cost optimization, and process improvement
  • Design and develop advanced analytical models and dashboards to track key business metrics, identify trends, and provide insights for optimizing performance
  • Utilize data visualization tools to communicate complex data insights in a clear and concise manner to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with IT, finance, and other departments to ensure smooth data access and integration
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest trends and technologies in business analytics and artificial intelligence
  • Lead the development and implementation of a data governance framework to ensure data quality and security. Identify and implement new data-driven tools and technologies to enhance analytical capabilities
  • Manage the marketing budget and identify opportunities for maximizing ROI

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in B2B, e-commerce, and digital marketing strategies and tactics, is desired
