Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in marketing, communications, business, management, or a related field
  • 5-10 years of proven experience in project/resource management within a marketing or advertising agency, or a similar industry
  • Management experience is required
  • Advanced understanding of integrated marketing projects (media planning, digital, social, analytics)
  • Proficiency with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PPT) and/or G Suite (Docs and Sheets)
  • Basic knowledge of resource management software and project management tools. Proficiency with Kantata is highly valued
  • Ability to stay calm under pressure and manage competing demands with strategic problem-solving
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and details
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and an outgoing nature
  • A passion for strategic excellence and a desire to work in a collaborative agency environment

Responsibilities

  • Support Strategy and Engagement Leadership in the smooth operation and management of the team
  • Work with leadership to analyze and improve marketing processes to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance the team's productivity
  • Maintain an overview of the team’s skills, availability, and workload across offices
  • Align team members' unique talents with client work to ensure the best outcomes
  • Serve as the liaison between the various strategic disciplines, Project Managers, and other departments, ensuring project requirements are met and work is appropriately assigned
  • Facilitate collaboration between disciplines and ensure the smooth flow of information between teams
  • Understand the strategic process and the resources required to successfully complete various types of projects
  • Review potential freelance resources and create a database to streamline resourcing. Assist with recruiting full-time candidates when needed
  • Build trusting relationships with team members and act as a confidante and advisor to help address any issues or conflicts
  • Attend leadership meetings and keep leadership informed of any team issues, concerns, or successes
  • Work with leadership to assess the need for training or skill development within the team and coordinate relevant programs
