Summary

Join Darkroom, a rapidly growing omnichannel marketing agency, as the Director of TikTok Shop. You will build and lead a new team focused on managing TikTok Shop services for CPG brands. This role involves developing and executing TikTok Shop strategies, managing client relationships, and overseeing content creation. You will be responsible for driving GMV growth, establishing best practices, and delivering measurable results. The position is remote and open to candidates in Pennsylvania, New York, or Florida. This is a talent pool posting; the role is not currently open but will be in the future.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in CPG e-commerce, with at least 2 years of experience in TikTok
  • Minimum 4 months in TikTok Shop
  • Do not apply if you have not management shop creation and gmv growth
  • Strong understanding of the retail landscape, consumer behavior, and digital marketing trends
  • Demonstrated experience leading and growing teams in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to articulate strategies, insights, and recommendations to both clients and internal teams
  • Data-driven mindset with a track record of optimizing media investments based on performance data

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute TikTok Shop strategies to drive gmv growth for clients
  • Lead and build a high-performing team of brand managers that will handle shop management/set up, affiliate relationships, content quality control, growth strategies, and media buying
  • Manage client relationships and affiliate/content creator campaigns across TikTok, ensuring we consistently deliver the highest quality content for our clients while maintaining healthy volume
  • Act as the senior point of contact for major CPG clients
  • Provide strategic insights, performance reviews, and identify growth opportunities in digital retail media
  • Generating and maintaining key relationships with TikTok
  • Oversee the collection and analysis of performance data to continuously refine and enhance retail media strategies
  • Develop comprehensive reporting frameworks to communicate results and recommendations effectively to clients
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and continuously explore new digital channels and tools to drive in-store sales
  • Test and implement innovative solutions to increase the impact of retail media investments
  • Build, mentor, and manage a team of media buyers, strategists, and analysts
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, creativity, and accountability within the Retail Media team
