Summary
The job is for an Operations Center Manager in a Worker's Compensation and/or Auto insurance setting. The role involves overseeing regional operations, managing staff, analyzing performance data, coordinating with other departments, and handling depositions as needed. A preferred Associate's or Bachelor's degree and relevant experience in healthcare or insurance is required. Business experience in a Worker’s Compensation and/or Auto insurance setting, Long Term / Short Term Disability Claims background, and exceptional communication skills are preferred. Requirements
- An Associate’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree is preferred
- Business experience in a healthcare and/or insurance setting is preferred
- Business experience in a Worker’s Compensation and/or Auto insurance setting is preferred
Responsibilities
- Oversee and ensure the overall profitability of the regional operations center
- Reach and exceed financial & referral goals
- Properly manage staffing efficiencies throughout the team
- Manage performance expectations & improvements for existing staff
- Present management with regular reporting on any topic requested by the management team
- Oversee the deposition process at the request of the client or defense counsel
- Hires and trains new employees
- Organizes and oversees the schedules and work of assigned staff
- Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive
- Handles discipline and termination of employees as needed and in accordance with company policy
- Plans and organizes daily activities related to production and operations
- Measures productivity by analyzing performance data, financial data, and activity reports
- Coordinates with other support departments such as human resources, finance, and IT and BA to ensure successful production operations
- Determines labor needs to meet production goals
