Requirements

• Proven experience as a dispatcher or in a similar role within transportation, logistics, or field service operations
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency in using dispatch software, GPS tracking systems, and Microsoft Office applications
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick, effective decisions under pressure

Responsibilities

• Receive, prioritize, and schedule service requests for transportation or delivery operations
• Dispatch drivers, technicians, or field personnel efficiently to meet service requirements
• Monitor routes, traffic conditions, and schedules to ensure timely arrivals and departures
• Maintain real-time communication with drivers, customers, and management to provide updates and resolve issues
• Utilize dispatch software and GPS tracking systems to optimize routing and efficiency
• Document and maintain accurate records of dispatch activities, including trip logs, work orders, and reports
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards
• Address and resolve any delays, emergencies, or unforeseen issues promptly
• Collaborate with other departments, such as logistics, customer service, and maintenance, to ensure smooth operations
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and complaints in a professional manner

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of transportation regulations and safety procedures is an advantage
