Join our team as a Distribution Sales Manager to oversee and expand our distribution partnerships, primarily with Ingram Micro and other channel partners. This role demands developing sales strategies, achieving revenue goals, and fostering strong relationships with resellers. Responsibilities include managing distributor relationships, developing growth strategies, recruiting new partners, providing sales enablement, and generating quarterly reports. Requirements
- 5+ years of sales experience working with IT distribution partners and channel partners
- BA required

Responsibilities
- Manage the overall relationship and serve as the primary point of contact for Ingram Micro, ensuring alignment with their sales and operational teams
- Develop and execute strategies to grow revenue through distribution channels
- Initiate business and marketing plans, forecast quarterly sales and drive key performance indicators
- Drive significant incremental growth revenue across all product lines
- Identify, recruit, and onboard new channel partners aligned with company objectives
- Support and coordinate order management process with distributor and our CS team
- Engage with channel partners on a regular basis, to provide support and channel growth to exceed revenue goals. This includes sales enablement and co-selling support
- Utilize channel marketing budgets to support awareness, training, and demand generation activities
- Provide quarterly reporting, conduct quarterly business reviews with executive teams and distributor stakeholders
- Provide distributors and channel partners the necessary tools, training, and resources to effectively sell OpenVPN
- The ability to conduct sales training webinars and evangelize OpenVPN within the distribution sales teams and channel partners
- Collaborate with product marketing and cross-functional teams to develop any new content, collateral, or campaigns
Preferred Qualifications
- An understanding of the security software industry, prior knowledge and experience
- Proven track record in working with distribution sales / partners and channel programs
- Demonstrated success in achieving channel sales growth objectives
- Ability to work independently and cross-functionally across all levels of the organization
- Extensive experience in working with regional partners, service partners, and managed service partners (MSPs)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong sales operations skills and the ability to build high level relationships with partners
- Excellent business acumen
- Close to Ingram Micro (Bullalo, NY) preferred, but not required

- Compensation for this position will be tailored based on qualifications and experience. Candidates offered the position can expect a starting base salary of $78000 - $141000 and $79000 - $148000 additional pay per year
