You will play a key role in developing and executing market development and downstream marketing initiatives for their innovative BCI technology. This hands-on leadership position requires experience in early-stage medical or neurotechnology companies and expertise in both tactical and strategic marketing. The role focuses on building marketing infrastructure, managing stakeholder engagement using platforms like Salesforce, and crafting strategies for successful commercialization. Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Neuroscience, Biomedical Engineering, or related fields
- Minimum of 5 years of downstream marketing or product marketing experience in medical devices, biotech, or neurotechnology industries, with a focus on early-stage or pre-revenue companies
- Proven expertise in managing Salesforce or similar CRM platforms for stakeholder engagement
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into compelling narratives
- Strategic mindset with the ability to execute in a lean, fast-paced startup environment
- Adept at building relationships with scientific and clinical communities
- Proficient in digital marketing tools, data analytics, and content management systems
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the upstream, product, and clinical teams to define unique product value propositions and refine customer journeys
- Build relationships with healthcare providers, patient advocates, and potential partners to achieve commercial goals
- Manage communications with key stakeholders, ensuring alignment with company milestones, clinical trial progress, and scientific advancements
- Implement and optimize Salesforce or similar CRM platforms to track engagement with clinicians, investors, and other stakeholders
- Develop workflows to segment audiences, automate outreach, and track outcomes to support pre-revenue growth objectives
- Collaborate with Marketing-Communication partners to develop engaging social media campaigns that further commercial goals
- Create compelling marketing assets, including scientific content, white papers, webinars, and presentations tailored to highly technical and medical audiences
- Collaborate with clinical and medical education to create clear and concise collateral to train users during clinical trials
- Oversee product positioning messaging to ensure alignment with the company’s mission and technical credibility
- Collaborate with Upstream to develop and maintain a claims matrix that will drive therapy adoption
- Collaborate with the clinical team to translate trial data into marketing and educational materials
- Define KPIs to measure the success of pre-revenue marketing and engagement initiatives
- Regularly present data-driven insights and recommendations to the commercial leadership team. Turn data into information
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including clinical, regulatory, and R&D, to ensure marketing aligns with the company’s development milestones
- Play a key role in growing the marketing team as the company progresses toward commercialization
- Develop, manage, and execute Congress and Advocacy Organization strategies that align marketing resources to business goals
- Monitor competitive activity and develop messaging strategy to further Synchron’s leadership in the field
Preferred Qualifications
- Ability to achieve results by working cross-functionally and collaboratively across a matrix organization, including scoping and managing projects
- Experience in market development for disruptive technologies, particularly in regulated industries
- Strong understanding of clinical trial processes, regulatory landscapes, and commercialization pathways
Benefits
- SALARY: $130k - $145k
