Requirements

  • 5+ years of demonstrable sales experience within consulting OR solutions sales organizations
  • Strong experience in at least one e-commerce platform: Big Commerce, Shopify Plus, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Fabric, Magento, Adobe Commerce/AEM
  • Experience with omni-channel, composable, headless, API-first, B2B, B2C, wholesale, replatforming, loyalty (LaaS), analytics, integrations
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments, be hands-on, and work in an entrepreneurial environment
  • Comfort in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to advocate and support the companyโ€™s mission, culture, standards, etc
  • Ability to connect with the right people and thrive on creating mutually beneficial partnerships
  • Proven track record of generating opportunities in target markets
  • Experience producing new business, negotiating deals, and maintaining a healthy pipeline
  • Ability to understand the bigger picture of how sold engagements impact clientsโ€™ long-term strategy

Responsibilities

  • Prospect, nurture, and close new e-commerce clients for consulting and implementation services
  • Prospect potential customers, qualify them, and close opportunities
  • Showcase excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Proactively address clientsโ€™ needs and facilitate the sales process from beginning to end
  • Contribute to an increase in e-commerce services sales
  • Accomplish sales through account planning, territory planning, researching prospective customers and their pain points, aligning to e-commerce platform partners/vendors, using business development strategies, and completing field-based sales activities within a defined set of prospects, territory or vertical
  • Find and close deals
  • Prospect, qualify, nurture, and engage with e-commerce companies
  • Network, place calls, and employ diverse marketing strategies to forge relationships with key players
  • Prospect and close deals advantageous for both the client and the company
  • Nurture relationships to create opportunities and collaborate with e-commerce platforms/vendors
  • Attend conferences, trade shows, or travel to meet prospects or partners
  • Ensure meticulous record-keeping of activities, follow-ups, estimates, communications, etc., in Hubspot CRM
  • Independently manage your sales process from initiating contact with new leads to managing opportunities and clinching deals
  • Regularly contribute to the sales playbook
