Summary
Join Aptos, a people-first blockchain, as a strategic and collaborative LFM Marketing Manager. This role focuses on leading marketing efforts for the LFM program, supporting promising builders launching on Aptos. You will work closely with ecosystem projects, providing comprehensive marketing support before and after token generation events (TGEs). Responsibilities include acting as a liaison between the LFM program and the Aptos Foundation marketing team, developing marketing plans, guiding campaign execution, evaluating budgets, developing marketing playbooks, tracking performance, and educating ecosystem project marketers. The ideal candidate possesses 5+ years of marketing experience, ideally in web3, startups, or ecosystem-driven companies, and a strong understanding of go-to-market strategies and community-led marketing.
Requirements
- 5+ years in marketing roles, ideally with experience in web3, startups, or ecosystem-driven companies
- Strong understanding of early-stage go-to-market strategy, token launches, and community-led marketing
- Exceptional project management and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Deep empathy for builders and strong communication skills to advise teams with varying levels of marketing experience
- Data-driven mindset and experience setting and measuring performance metrics
- Passion for web3 and enthusiasm for supporting the next generation of decentralized projects
Responsibilities
- Act as the main point of contact between the LFM program and the Aptos Foundation marketing team to coordinate support across PR, AMAs, social, content creation, media coverage, and more
- Partner with LFM project teams and Aptos ecosystem leads to develop and align marketing plans around key moments like TGE, major product launches, and partnership announcements
- Guide projects on how to execute successful campaigns across different marketing channels β from positioning to messaging to distribution
- Collaborate with the Aptos ecosystem team to assess marketing grant proposals from LFM projects, evaluate the effectiveness of proposed budgets, and define ROI metrics
- Help standardize support by building repeatable frameworks, best practices, and templates that can be scaled across the LFM program
- Create reporting structures to track the impact of marketing efforts and share results with internal stakeholders and project teams
- Empower ecosystem project marketers by sharing trends, insights, and strategic recommendations relevant to the Aptos ecosystem and broader web3 landscape
