Editorial or Communications Intern

Ballotpedia
Summary
Join Ballotpedia's internship program and gain hands-on experience in a collaborative environment. As an intern, you'll receive onboarding similar to full-time employees, learning about bias prevention, website coding, and Ballotpedia's style guide. You'll then join one of four teams (Communications, Editorial, External Relations, or Tech), working alongside full-time staff. Editorial interns may research and write about various political topics, assist with news and legislation tracking, and participate in team meetings. Communications interns may assist with social media, email campaigns, data collection, and report development. The internship is part-time (10-20 hours/week), remote, and paid at $15/hour (or your area's minimum wage if higher). Ballotpedia may facilitate credit for your internship experience.
