Summary

Join Avalere Health's Editorial Services team as an Editorial Project Specialist. Manage publications-focused projects and client content review processes using systems like Datavision or iEnvision. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality publications, adhering to timelines and guidelines. Manage client review workflows, coordinate submissions, and handle digital content updates. Liaise with clients and internal teams for smooth project workflows. Assist in onboarding junior team members and promote best practices. This role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 1+ years of experience in a similar role within a medical/healthcare communications agency.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Science, English, or a related field; advanced degrees are a plus
  • Minimum 1+ year in a similar database management role in a fast-paced medical/healthcare communications agency environment
  • Hands on experience of review management systems like Datavision or iEnvision essential; experience with other standard document review and approval tools (PubStrat, Veeva PromoMats, Zinc, Content Lab) is beneficial
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and PubMed searches
  • Excellent database competency (e.g. Datavision, iEnvision, Veeva)
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities to handle multiple projects effectively
  • Self-driven with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Exceptional communication skills to effectively engage with clients and internal stakeholders
  • Impeccable attention to detail
  • A proactive problem-solver with an eye for quality and efficiency

Responsibilities

  • Oversee client content review processes, including the development, review, and submission of high-quality publications, ensuring adherence to timelines, compliance guidelines, client preferences, and SOPs
  • Manage client review workflows using systems like Datavision or iEnvision, coordinating submissions, retrievals, and updates
  • Collaborate with internal and client teams to manage specifications, schedules, and communications for seamless project delivery
  • Handle permissions acquisition and digital content updates, including journal and congress submissions
  • Liaise with clients, review software vendors, and internal teams to maintain smooth project workflows
  • Assist in onboarding junior team members and advocating for publication best practices
