Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in content operations, project management, editorial management, or a related field
- Proficiency with content management systems (e.g., WordPress, Contentful, Drupal), workflow/project management tools (e.g., Asana, Jira, Trello), and digital asset management platforms
- Experience conducting content audits and implementing content optimization strategies
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to analyze data and generate actionable insights for process and content improvements
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and refine processes for content creation, editing, review, approval, and publishing across multiple channels
- Manage content calendars, deadlines, and deliverables, ensuring timely execution of content initiatives
- Lead initiatives to audit, update, and optimize existing content for accuracy, relevance, SEO, user engagement, and business objectives
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify high-impact content for refreshes, repurposing, or retirement
- Utilize analytics to drive recommendations and measure the success of optimization efforts
- Oversee content QA processes, ensuring all assets meet brand guidelines, editorial standards, and compliance requirements
- Serve as the liaison between content creators, designers, product managers, and marketing, ensuring alignment and smooth handoffs
- Administer content management systems (CMS), digital asset management (DAM) platforms, and workflow tools
- Identify and implement process improvements and new technologies
- Track content performance metrics, workflow efficiency, and resource utilization
- Analyze content effectiveness and identify opportunities for optimization based on data
- Provide actionable insights and recommendations
- Develop and maintain documentation for content processes, style guides, and best practices
- Train team members on tools and workflows
- Identify opportunities to scale and optimize content operations, supporting innovation and growth
Preferred Qualifications
- Understanding of SEO, content strategy, and digital marketing best practices is a plus
- Experience in a similar role within B2B Saas companies, or startups
- Familiarity with content localization and translation workflows
- Knowledge of analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Tableau) and experience creating dashboards or reports
- Experience or interest in leveraging AI-powered tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Anthropic, Jasper) to support content creation, editing, research, or workflow automation
- Interest or experience in basic graphic design, image editing, or collaborating with creative teams to enhance visual content (e.g., using tools like Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or Figma)
