Responsibilities

  • Support day-to-day EH&S operations in a fast-paced, cross-functional, and highly collaborative manufacturing/construction environment
  • Assist with the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of EHS Management System elements pertaining to all construction and manufacturing operations
  • Serve as the integration and development leader of Lucid EHS Management Systems to ensure conformance to ISO 14001 & ISO 45001
  • Support on-floor activities daily by attending meetings, resolving issues presented by team members, and coaching the floor with the EHS employee engagement process
  • Manage the EHS systems implementation such as emergency response plan, fire life safety plan, machine's/equipment's/tools EHS requirements, culture development plan, Hazard Identification system, Environmental management, etc
  • Work closely with third-party vendors
  • Develop and maintain effective communication between all organizations within Construction/manufacturing operations
  • Participate in and lead health risk assessments, draw monitoring plans, and conduct industrial hygiene monitoring activities for new and evolving processes
  • Ensure compliance with Local, State, and Federal environmental, health, and safety regulations
  • Lead incident analysis activities to determine RCCA definition on
  • Design safe workspaces and create, implement, and measure policies for employees to follow that minimize job-related hazards
  • Manage high-visibility projects as a key liaison between Lucid Motors and third-party organizations' driving results to meet aggressive targets
  • Obtain multiple paths to resolution across issues and present to EHS/Manufacturing leadership Drive employee engagement programs as a foundation to EHS integration in the workplace
  • Provide support for EHS programs such as LOTO, Hazard Communication, Emergency Response, Fall Protection, Respiratory Protection, Hearing Conservation, Air and Waste management, etc
  • Develop and conduct education and training as required across manufacturing operations
  • Represent EHS in varying multifunctional engagements
  • Design and conduct workplace inspection practices and drive the corrective and preventative action management process providing key performance indicators
  • Continuously drive improvements and automation to increase quality, improve employee experience, and enable rapid scaling
