The job is for an e-learning course designer and developer on a full-time, fixed term contract with Study Group. The role involves creating e-learning materials tailored to the business's unique requirements, collaborating with subject matter experts, proofreading content, managing the learning management system, monitoring feedback, and ensuring end users can access e-learning.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated expertise in instructional design and e-learning development. Preferably in the education sector OR for the sales team for a global organisation for internal staff for a wide range of products
  • Strong advisor/partnering skills to work effectively with peers, subject matter experts, and other stakeholders
  • Use e-learning authoring tools
  • Create engaging, interactive, and effective training and performance support materials that meet learning outcomes
  • Strong training writing and training content development skills, including attention to detail and the ability to analyse, organise, and effectively communicate complex ideas through writing
  • Ability to quickly learn subject matter
  • Be self-motivated, versatile and able to work on own initiative with little supervision
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to effectively prioritise, multi-task and meet tight deadlines

Responsibilities

  • Designing and developing e-learning courses and modules specifically tailored to meet the unique requirements of the business
  • Applying instructional design principles and utilising various multimedia tools to craft captivating and interactive learning experiences
  • Collaborating with subject matter experts, to create materials from a β€˜blank sheet of paper’
  • Proof-reading and editing content to ensure proper use of grammar, punctuation, style, and brand guidelines
  • Managing and maintaining the learning management system as it pertains to the content created. Including ensuring appropriate teams are given access
  • Monitoring feedback and engagement and enhancing materials accordingly
  • Ensuring end users are able to access e-learning by providing training
