Email Marketing Specialist

Summary

Join our team as an Email Marketing Specialist and be responsible for the technical execution of marketing strategies, ensuring high-quality deliverables and optimized campaign performance. This role focuses on the backend implementation of retention marketing campaigns, collaborating closely with the creative team. You will execute and optimize email, SMS, and other retention marketing campaigns, collaborating with designers and copywriters to produce high-converting emails. Quality checking campaigns and building client presentations showcasing campaign performance are also key responsibilities. This is a freelance position requiring a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and 2+ years in retention marketing or digital campaign execution.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or related field (or equivalent work experience)
• 2+ years of experience in retention marketing, email marketing or digital campaign execution
• Hands-on experience with marketing platforms like Klaviyo, HubSpot, or Mailchimp
• Proficient in executing email and SMS campaigns
• Strong attention to detail for error-free campaign execution
• Excellent time management to meet campaign deadlines

Responsibilities

• Execute and optimize email, SMS and other retention marketing campaigns
• Collaborate with copywriters and graphic designers to produce high-quality and high-converting emails
• Execute optimization plans to boost retention marketing performance
• Quality check campaigns to ensure error-free deliverables
• Collaborate with the Client Strategist to build client presentations showcasing insights and campaign performance
• Support ad-hoc tasks and projects as needed

Preferred Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS for email customization and troubleshooting
• Familiarity with analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Excel, or dashboards)
