Join our growing team as an Email Marketing Specialist and play a key role in developing and optimizing email campaigns to boost engagement, drive conversions, and achieve measurable results. This part-time, remote position (20 hours/week, UK time zone) involves collaborating with team members and potentially receiving mentorship. You will design and execute email campaigns, utilize email marketing tools, perform A/B testing, analyze campaign performance, and ensure compliance with email marketing regulations. The ideal candidate possesses proven email marketing experience, proficiency with email marketing tools, and strong analytical and communication skills. Requirements
- Proven experience in email marketing, including campaign design, copywriting, and technical setup
- Proficiency with email marketing tools (e.g., Klaviyo, Mailchimp, HubSpot) and CRM systems
- Strong understanding of A/B testing, audience segmentation, and personalization strategies
- Solid graphic design skills and familiarity with tools like Figma, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Knowledge of email compliance laws and best practices
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with the team and consultants when needed
Responsibilities
- Develop, design, and execute email campaigns that align with our marketing goals, including customer engagement, lead generation, and retention
- Create high-quality email content, including copywriting, design, and layout
- Utilize email marketing tools and platforms to set up, test, and launch campaigns
- Implement A/B testing strategies to optimize subject lines, content, layouts, and CTAs for improved performance
- Perform audience segmentation, personalization, and list management, ensuring clean and organized contact lists
- Analyze campaign performance metrics (open rates, click-through rates, conversions) and provide actionable insights for optimization
- Utilize reporting in Klaviyo to track performance and identify areas for improvement
- Ensure compliance with email marketing laws and regulations (e.g., GDPR, CAN-SPAM)
- Replicate successful email campaigns using provided samples and guidelines while innovating to improve results
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure campaign alignment with broader marketing strategies
- Stay updated on email marketing trends, tools, and best practices to recommend innovative strategies
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience utilizing reporting features in Klaviyo to optimize campaign performance
- Experience in eCommerce or a similar industry
- Familiarity with marketing automation and integration with platforms like Shopify
