Summary

The job is for a U.S. Employment Counsel to join the legal team of a digital agency, WHY DEPT®, working closely with the US People & Culture team and providing guidance on all employment matters across the United States. The role requires 3-5 years of experience practicing U.S. employment law, strong communication skills, project management abilities, and a Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.

3-5 years experience practicing U.S. employment law, either in-house or at a law firm

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with business-team counterparts and identify ways to improve and evolve employment practices as needed
• Drive compliance with labor and employment laws and regulations
• Provide practical and actionable guidance on a broad range of employment matters
