Join our Employment Team as the Employment Specialist at the North Long Beach Office and help others make a positive change in their lives. As part of the team, you will work with clients experiencing homelessness to find and retain sustainable employment opportunities.

Requirements

• An employment eligibility verification
• CPR/First Aid training
• Tuberculosis Test
• Background Screening
• Drug Test

Responsibilities

• Provide field-based and onsite employment-related case management services
• Conduct employability assessments of participants, including assessing readiness for work, physical and mental capabilities
• Develop and update Individualized Employment Plans for enrolled participants
• Maintain complete and accurate records and ensure timely updates on client participation and communicate progress to case managers
• Provide job readiness skills training such as resume development, interviewing skills and job search techniques
