Summary

Join Energy Solutions, a growing company focused on market-based programs for energy, carbon, and water savings, as an Energy Efficiency Administrative Assistant I. You will process incentive applications, ensuring compliance with program requirements. This role requires strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and excellent communication. The position is hybrid, requiring a minimum of one day a week in the office (Oakland, CA, Orange, CA, Portland, OR, Boston, MA, New York, NY, or Chicago, IL). You will contribute to energy efficiency markets and greenhouse gas reductions. This is a unique opportunity to shape the nation’s future energy.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 1 year of administrative or data entry experience
  • Business writing ability with strong spelling, punctuation, and grammar
  • Intermediate experience in spreadsheets and proficiency in database management required
  • Excellent time management, organizational, and multi-tasking skills with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and juggle competing priorities with minimal guidance
  • Demonstrates initiative, flexibility, accountability, and ownership of assigned tasks
  • Ability to remain organized, give attention to detail, follow instructions and multi-task in a professional and effective manner
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
  • Intermediate proficiency with MS Office tools including Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • A basic excel test will be required during the interview process

Responsibilities

  • Payee & user account creation: entering in information into our online website
  • Incentive claim review: reviewing attachments, data, and requirements for incentive claims
  • Coordinating with participating distributors to troubleshoot claim or payment issues
  • Formatting Excel spreadsheets and uploading to our online website
  • Support ad-hoc projects as directed by team supervisor

Preferred Qualifications

  • BA or BS degree in Business Administration or a related field preferred
  • A proven professional or personal commitment to the betterment of the environment and the reduction of GHGs is a plus but not required
