Based in Washington, D.C., or remotely on the East Coast/Central regions, you will play an integral role in ensuring accurate and timely communications, coordinating meetings and schedules, maintaining project files, and ensuring efficient project completion. You will manage client engagement processes, apply independent judgment, act as a liaison between the firm and clients, and establish strategic tracking and reporting systems. This role requires strong communication, organizational, and time management skills, along with experience in project management and various technology platforms. Requirements
- Bachelorโs degree or equivalent experience
- 4+ yearsโ experience preferred
- Strong personal and communication skills both written and verbal; ability to develop relationships with clients and be a go to contact; able to adapt to a variety of styles and personalities
- Great organizational skill
- Ability to work with several technology platforms including Microsoft Office suite and learn our project management platform
- Responsive and ability to manage multiple projects and communications simultaneously
- Excellent attention to detail; ability to multitask and adapt to shifting needs and priorities
- Reliable, productive, and self-motivated; able to work well under pressure
- Able to learn and adapt to new and complex procedures quickly
- Excellent time management skills
Responsibilities
- Manage the process for engaging with clients on specific projects including audit, tax, and advisory engagements
- Apply independent judgement and decision-making skills to address client needs within project scope and budgetary guidelines
- Act as a liaison between the firm and clients by gathering documents related to the projects/clients assigned and coordinating with the engagement teams
- Establish and implement strategic tracking and reporting systems to ensure project completion according to specifications, budgets, and timelines
- Be responsible for utilizing tracking materials through our project management teams to actively engage team members and clients to move the projects forward to completion
- Lead communication efforts with internal and external stakeholders on an ongoing basis
- Establish appropriate times frames and coordinating meetings and schedules
- Develop, implement, and manage project scope plans according to deadlines and budgetary requirements
- Forecast and mitigate potential delays in project completion timeline
- Utilize the ME groups project management system to manage projects efficiently and in a timely manner
- Participate on the firm wide project management team to develop best practices and making recommendations for efficiency
- Assist with other duties as needed
Preferred Qualifications
Project management experience preferred (may include administrative projects)
