Requirements

  • An academic background in Engineering or related fields, with a passion for HVAC, building automation or mechanical/electrical engineering
  • Utilize Microsoft Excel to create reports, perform data analysis, and manage large datasets
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with external stakeholders and internal teams
  • Proficiency in data entry and management software; familiarity with data visualization tools is a plus
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

  • Own and manage the utility data collection process, ensuring timely and accurate acquisition of utility bills and related information from external stakeholders
  • Establish and maintain relationships with utility providers, vendors, and other external sources to facilitate smooth data retrieval
  • Monitor and follow up on data requests to ensure compliance with reporting deliverable deadlines and data quality standards
  • Process and validate utility bill data, ensuring accuracy and completeness of the information requested, resolving any discrepancies or issues in data submissions with third party utility providers
  • Conduct data entry tasks with precision and efficiency, utilizing Microsoft Excel and other softwares to organize and analyze data
  • Analyze current data collection processes and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Implement best practices and recommend changes to optimize the utility data collection and processing workflows
  • Collaborate with the product and energy reporting teams to select and integrate a utility data ingestion solution that meets organizational needs
  • Work closely with the Energy Reporting team and other departments to ensure seamless data integration and reporting
  • Prepare and present regular updates on data collection progress, issues, and enhancements
  • Work with the Energy Reporting team to carry out Option C analysis of the utility data collected in accordance with IPMVP
  • Assist the Energy Reporting team with producing energy savings reports and enhancing reporting practices
